Henry Ford was, by his own admission, a person of average intelligence who surrounded himself with brilliant people capable of making his vision come to life. Today's quote comes from this industrial pioneer:
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.
Our attitudes and beliefs have so much to do with our success and growth. It is difficult to recognize the attitudes and beliefs that hold us back from achieving more. It is even more difficult to change those beliefs and keep them changed long enough for a new direction to take hold. Self-development is the only development that really counts. There is no one else who can do it for you, no matter how supportive your spouse, family, friends, or colleagues may be.
Growth comes to those who pull their focus inward and see their own attitudes reflected in the world around them.
