Because of the flexibility of the Music Professional Learning Network website, there are even more ways to filter and handle the content. Yesterday, I created a video and blog entry to take you through the basics. There are even more ways of making use of the MPLN website, which I highlight in this walkthrough video:

Tips on this video:

• Use Groups tab to see a list of all groups
• In Groups view, click on Get email updates to set email notifications for your groups. You can set it as frequent as every time something changes to weekly digest to as often as never.
• Use My Account > My Groups to see all the groups you have joined
• Use My Account > My Friends to see the people on your friends list. Use filters to find who you are looking for - I like "alphabetical" by first name.
• Use the search field to literally search anything and everything - this may be the shortest way to find what you are looking for.
• Don't forget about all the great information and links on the right sidebar!
• Another useful tool is the up arrow icon on the wibiya bar at the bottom of the screen. With one click, it returns you to the top of the screen.
