This amazing offering just crossed my monitor today from my colleague Mark Burke at ViaAcademies. Tomorrow, Thursday March 3, 2011at 1:30 PM EST, Berklee College of Music is attempting to set a world record by connecting guitarists everywhere with a guitar lesson from legendary guitarist Steve Vai. This is a powerful demonstration of synchronous music instruction via the internet - something I have been attempting to utlize with my own students.

To participate, you have to create a free account on Berklee's website. You can opt out of their email list if you choose.
