Well, here it comes. It is with a great deal of pride and lots of effort on my part that I am pleased to announce our first annual A Cappella Summer Showcase Concert sponsored by The A Cappella Project - Philadelphia. See the above poster for details.
This concert is a new offering this year being held as part of a clinc/showcase event for the members of Project-Philly's summer a cappella groups. Our guest group, Snowday Vocal Band, will be providing our two summer groups, which this summer are named Project Lemon and Project Lime, with an on-stage clinic on two songs each from their repertoire for the 6th annual Benefit Concert, which will take place on August 12.
After the clinic and dinner, the groups will take the stage with the two Project groups opening for our guests. Ticket proceeds will directly benefit the Ani Fiordimondo Performing Arts Scholarship Fund, administered by the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia.

If you can't make it to Philadelphia, the concert will be live streamed on the web. Look for the link the day of the concert on Project-Philly's website.
This event was made possible by the generous donations of 49 backers as part of a Kickstarter campaign that we ran during the months of June and July.
Contemporary a cappella singing is a great blend of today's popular music with classical close harmony choral singing. It is a fantastic vehicle to get young people to learn more about the art of music in a way that they can relate to in this modern "media consumption" culture. I hope you will join us.
